Title Miraeohsung Asset appointed Park Gwan-min, President of the International Intelligent City Association, as the new president

Miraeohsung Group announced on June 18 that it has appointed Chairman Park Gwang-min of the International Intelligent City Association as the new chairman of the Miraeohsung Asset.

Park received his master's degree in urban planning from the University of Southern California and his Ph.D. in regional and urban planning from the Graduate School of Dankook University.

Park, who joined the Korea Land Corp. in 1981, served as chief of staff, head of the trust business and audit office, and later as director of the Green City of LH (Korea Land and Housing Corporation), president of Alpha Dome City in Pangyo, and CEO of Midan City Development.
 
He is Currently Chairman of the International Intelligent City Association, Chairman of the International Drones Sports Federation, Chairman of the Korea Drones Association, and visiting professor at Konkuk University. 

Park is well known as a city planning expert with expertise in new city and industrial complex planning. He has accumulated expertise in LH in the new city of Bundang, Ilsan, Pangyo, and Dongtan, as well as in Sejong City, Innovation City, and Industrial Complex Planning.

With the recruitment of Park, Miraeohsung Group plans to launch smart city development business in tandem with global companies in connection with ongoing car sharing projects. The real estate-related financial sector, including REITs and private equity funds (PEF), will also be expanded.

"Chairman Park Kwan-min is an industry leader who has successfully promoted the Alpha Dome City project, the largest PF project in Korea," said an official at Miraeohsung Group. "With the appointment of the new president, we will expand our business and pursue comprehensive real estate investment projects including the REITs project."
