2019.06.20. Miraeohsung Group said it will participate in the Smart City business, which is well-received as a future city business. To this end, the Miraeohsung Group appointed Park Kwan-min, president of Pangyo AlphaDome City, as the chairman of Miraeohsung Asset on June 17th. President Park has accumulated expertise and experience in urban development for more than 40 years. Based on such know-how, he currently holds the chairmanship of the Korea Drone Association and the International Association of Intelligent Cities. Smart City is a future-oriented city that collects various data based on advanced information and communication technology and maximizes efficiency in comprehensive areas such as traffic, environment, and residence in city. In this smart city, strong convergence is expected between mobility such as electric car charging, car sharing, and logistics. Miraeohsung Group, which is currently pursuing a vehicle sharing business, plans to take the lead in building a smart city centering on a shared mobility platform led by President Park. Here, Miraeohsung Group is blueprinting future transportation such as autonomous driving service using V2X (Vehicle to Everything) technology. President Park said, "It is essential to organically link up with a platform to share a ride with V2X technology in the next-generation Smart City development plan," Park said in an inaugural ceremony on the 17th. In his inauguration ceremony held on June 17, President Park, who is also an investor in the vehicle-sharing business of Miraeohsung Group, said “Organic links to ride-sharing platforms utilizing V2X technology are essential in the next smart city development plan. An official at Miraeohsung Group said, "We expect Chairman Park Kwan-min to play a pivotal role in smart city business that is being pursued by Miraeohsung Asset as he has experience in successfully leading various urban development plans."
